Jack is a Colorado Springs, Colorado native. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resource Management and then obtained his Juris Doctor in 1987 from the University of Oregon. Jack was admitted to the Colorado State Bar that same year and began specializing in civil litigation. Jack is the Principal of Donley Law PC where his practice focuses on civil litigation. The majority of his civil litigation practice is in the areas of personal injury, insurance, business, real estate trust and probate. He also provides mediation and arbitration services.

Jack is licensed to practice in the State of Colorado and to practice in Federal Court. He is a member of the El Paso County and Colorado Bar Associations. He is rated as AV Preeminent by Martindale.com and as Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers.

Jack has lectured on civil litigation and insurance topics and for the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training (COBALT). He a graduate of the NETA Trial Advocacy course.

Jack has been very active both professionally and civically. Among many others, his leadership rolls have included serving as the President of the El Paso County Bar Association, President of the Colorado Bar Association Bar Fellows, Vice President of the Colorado Bar Association, President of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs and Chair and then co-Chair of the Southern Colorado Mock Trial Competition from 1989 – 2001. He was in the inaugural class of the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training. (COBALT) .
